Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about adopting a Colleen Hill Golden.

What vaccinations do puppies receive?

All puppies receive their first round of DHPP vaccines (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), are dewormed multiple times, and undergo a thorough vet examination before going to their new homes. You'll receive complete health records including vaccination dates and recommendations for future care.

What's included in your health guarantee?

We offer a comprehensive 2-year genetic health guarantee that covers hereditary and congenital disorders. If your veterinarian diagnoses such a condition, we'll provide a replacement puppy from a future litter. The guarantee requires that you maintain regular veterinary care and provide proper nutrition.

How are the puppies socialized?

Our puppies are raised in our home with constant human interaction. They're exposed to various sounds, surfaces, and gentle handling from birth. As they grow, we introduce them to children, other dogs, and normal household activities. By the time they're ready to go home, they've experienced car rides, grooming, and basic crate training.

What's your deposit policy?

We require a {{DEPOSIT_PRICE}} non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy. This deposit is applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy. The balance is due when you pick up your puppy.

What do you feed your puppies?

We feed premium puppy food and will send you home with a starter bag along with detailed feeding instructions. Our puppies are weaned onto this food so there's no abrupt dietary change when they go home. We're happy to discuss nutrition and recommend supplements if needed.

Is there an additional fee after reservation?

Yes. After placing your reservation, a $300 fee is required to cover your puppy’s final veterinary health check and registration/change-of-ownership documents. This fee is applied toward the total purchase price, ensuring your puppy is healthy, documented, and ready to join your family.
